High protein meal delivery in Melbourne

Updated August 2026

Hitting a protein target is mostly a logistics problem, not a willpower one. Grilled skewers are one of the cleanest ways to solve it: lean protein, no batter, no heavy sauce, and macros you can actually count. Here is what to look for, and what our meals contain.

How much protein per meal?

A common working target is 1.6 to 2.2 g of protein per kilogram of body weight per day for people training seriously. For an 80 kg person that is roughly 130 to 175 g a day — about 40 to 55 g across three or four meals. The hard part is not the first meal of the day; it is the one you eat at 8pm when you have not cooked.

What to check before you buy

  • Published macros per meal — not per 100 g, which hides small portions.
  • Protein-to-calorie ratio — 40 g of protein in a 1,100 calorie meal is a different product to 40 g in 650.
  • Cooking method — grilled and chargrilled beats crumbed or fried.
  • Whether carbs are separate — being able to buy protein on its own lets you scale carbs to your training day.
  • Storage — vacuum sealed keeps far better than open tubs.

The cheapest way to run a high protein week

Buy protein separately and add your own carbs. A five pack of skewers gives you five protein servings for $70 (chicken, about 180 g protein), $80 (lamb) or $90 (eye fillet, about 190 g protein) — with almost no carbs, so you decide what goes beside it. Add rice at $7 or chargrilled potatoes at $8 when you want them.

If that becomes your normal week, a weekly or fortnightly meal plan takes 10% off every delivery — a chicken five pack drops from $70 to $63 — and you can pause or cancel yourself at any time.
